Updated 2026-05-19: No advance reservation is possible. Per Pappy & Harriet's Info page, no reservations for parties of 8 or less — first-come, first-served waitlist at the host stand only. Priority seating via events@pappyandharriets.com is reserved for parties of 8+; our party is 5 (under threshold).
Day-of strategy (Sat 9/19):
- ~17:15 arrive in Pioneertown, drop name on waitlist at the host stand in the lobby of Pappy's
- Then walk Mane Street for the golden-hour photo loop while the wait elapses
- Saturday evening in late Sep — expect a long wait (60–90+ min plausible)
- Return to Pappy's when called; aim to be seated by ~18:30–19:00 (target dinner window 19:00–21:00)
- Restaurant hours: 11 AM–11 PM 7 days/week; last seating 9:30 PM
Backup: if the wait is unworkable, fall back to dinner options in Yucca Valley / Joshua Tree town on the way back to the Airbnb.
