Description
Outbound — Fri Jul 3 · depart Redondo Beach 5:00 AM (north route, I-40 / Flagstaff, ~541 mi, ~8h driving).
Hard constraint: arrive 146 Doodlebug Road by 4:00 PM. Plan lands ~3:10 PM (~50 min buffer).

No deadline → faster south route: Sedona → I-17 S → Phoenix → I-10 W → Quartzsite → Blythe → Palm Springs → Redondo. Keep AC on through the low-desert heat; short break stops. To detail closer to the date.
Notes: No clock change CA↔AZ in summer (Arizona has no DST). Fill the tank at Barstow before the desert, top off at Kingman. Cooler of water + snacks; download offline maps/music for the Barstow↔Needles dead zone.
